Stream Priming Notes

• Cyclical pattern of 4 notes
  • Each varying in only in pitch
  • Odd fifth note inserted into pattern, different from one of the notes by some offset
• Single note at a time playing
  • All notes have same duration
  • Fixed gap between offset and onset of next

• Before stream played, a visual appears with up or down arrow indicating which of the two streams the odd note will appear.
• Only partially odd note only partially correlated with arrow (e.g. 70% of the time).
• Odd note defined as a positive or negative shift from existing note.
