  1. After downloading, installing and running the application, the setup screen is presented:

  2. At minimum, update the following fields:
    1. Screen width/height: set this to your monitor's physical dimensions so aspect ratio is properly managed. When running in "demo" mode the lattice is shown in a window. Otherwise, the experiment runs in full-screen mode.
    2. Working directory: disk location of input file, output file and instructions file (prepended to the following three fields).
  3. If no sequence data is found, the following dialog will appear.

Clicking OK will create a sample input file with a few example trials. This is a good way to get an example of the format expected.

  4. If testing, clicking the "Require keypress before response" allows you to view the lattice before the response display is shown
  5. The "ESC" key terminates the experiment.
  6. The response data is logged in a tab delimited file with the name (in the "Working Directory") specified in the setup screen. All subject runs are concatenated into this file, with individual runs also logged in separate files with a time stamp added to the file name.

Note: each field should be tab delimited. First row is just the header and is ignored by the code.
